Election: The Day After!

We here at Jennie's Essentials wanted to take a moment away from our normal programming to address what has been going on in the world over the last couple of months—the election of our 47th President. Yes, our President. Whether you voted for him or not, we are all here, and we are all in this together.

The one thing we all need to cling to is Jesus, because He is the Beginning and the End. He knew what was going to happen even before it happened. As believers, we know He has a plan, and we must trust that it’s for our good.

This morning was spent in prayer and watching movies—no news, no social media—just time with God. Light your candle from Jennie's Essentials and spend time with Him. He needs to validate you today, not any election or any human. It needs to be Him, and only Him. Take time today for your mental and spiritual health, because in the end, He will take care of you.

Here at Jennie's Essentials, we will continue to pray for our country and for our fellow Americans. But most of all, we will be on our faces, seeking and praying to the One who loves us the most—Jesus.
